More responses regarding "Hizbullah and the Iraq Resistance"

If Hizbullah is perceived as an Iranian extension by some, then this is Hizbullah's problem, not ours. They have been doing everything to make it appear like they really are an extension of Iran, regardless of whether or not they are. In other words, they are acting like it where it really counts, that is, towards Iraq. Don't get me wrong, I am happy about the victory [over "Israel"], and I am happy it was achieved at the hands of Arab fighters, but we need perspective here: The position towards Iraq is the standard by which all should be judged. Hizbullah is using its immense and well-deserved popularity to hurt the Arab nation in Iraq, so how are we to see that? As sectarianism, or as subservience to Iran? either way, Hizbullah is fucking all of us, and I can't blame Ziad or others for wondering. I actually respect his courage for voicing his thoughts despite running the risk of appearing like a Sunni sectarian at this stage.

[Response to the above]

The problem with this line of reasoning of course is that IN THE LEBANESE CONTEXT, it feeds directly into the propaganda of the 14th of March coalition, which allies itself with the US and "Israel". WITHIN LEBANON, AND IN REGARDS TO THE ARAB-ZIONIST STRUGGLE, Hizbullah has OBJECTIVELY contributed something quite positive which we'd be hurting ourselves if we failed to recognize. IN IRAQ, Hizbullah's position is to be condemned. Moreover, Hizbullah is in essence a sectarian force as well. However, under the objective conditions of the Lebanonese political landscape, its interests at this point, particularly in refusing to disarm the resistance and in forming a defense line against the Zionification of Lebanon, are totally in line with those of the Arab nation. We should be careful not fall into the trap of reducing everything about Hizbullah into its connection to Iran. Otherwise, we run the risk of condemning other resistance forces, including the Islamic ones in Palestine, on account of being connected Iran as well. If not, then is Hizbullah being attacked on account of being Shiite?! Hopefully not! Because that wouldn't be a progressive attitude, or an Arab nationalist one.
